We're Britt and Sam. An Aussie and a Brit. One studied fashion, the other writes about sport. Together, we somehow ended up building the same clothing brand.

I studied fashion straight out of school and, like a lot of fashion graduates, eventually found my way into marketing. Before that, I spent a couple of years building my own womenswear label on the side (while doing countless hours in hospo, of course), even getting the chance to showcase collections at fashion shows in Sydney and Newcastle, Australia.

Sam went in the opposite direction. He's a sports writer who'll happily watch almost anything and somehow remembers scorecards from years ago.

I never hated sport. I just assumed it wasn't for me. Somewhere between school PE and adulthood, I'd decided "sporty" was something you either were or you weren't. I wasn't.

Then I met Sam.

Spending time around sport, and eventually giving it a go myself, didn't suddenly make me sporty. It just made me question why I'd spent so long believing I wasn't.

Not That Sporty grew from that idea. Less interested in who counts as "sporty" and more interested in creating something people genuinely want to wear.

Inspired by sport, but never limited by it. Vintage sportswear, old club jumpers, stories worth retelling, and pieces you'll reach for whether you're heading to brunch, catching a flight, meeting friends, or just because you like the damn logo.

Here's to cheering without gatekeeping, asking the "stupid" questions, celebrating the wins, big or small, wearing the damn shirt because you like it, and never taking sport, or ourselves, too seriously.
